Three generations of Phi Beta Kappa women: Grandmother Elsa Jackman (ΦBK, St. Catherine’s, 1951), Ellen Doering (ΦBK, Hamline University, 2014), and Elen’s mom, Liz Jackman Doering (ΦBK, Gustavus Adolphus, 1983), at Ellen’s high school graduation.
